Stefano Occhetti, Roero Riserva, 2021 SO031726 Luigi Einaudi Influence is their flagship cuvée:A new wave Roero from a producer who walked away from corporate life to come home. Stefano Occhetti was born in Monteu Roero, then spent years working as an engineer abroad before quitting in 2019 to take over his family's small parcel (roughly 1. 8 hectares at the start, since expanded). The Riserva comes from the vineyard his grandfather planted in 1945 gnarled, low yielding Nebbiolo in Roero's famous sand rich soils. The 2020 vintage was the first
