they are destemmed and lightly crushed

powerful but with some finesse

yet mineral palate with lots of nectarine and stone fruit and long lees aging complexity

but is tempered by a fine thread of acidity and delicate chalky texture

Hersey Rose 2021 vignerons-destezargues Yields tend to be 2This Ros is a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 25% Chardonnay and 25% Pinot Gris. The three grape varieties were hand picked and the whole bunch pressed. After being fermented for 4 months in French oak, the wine was bottled with minimal sulphur and wild yeast. The resultant drink showcases a medium copper colour. A lifted nose of red fruit aromas typical to Pinot Noir is complemented by hints of rose petal. Pinot Gris adds texture and weight to the palate
