Fernand Coudert bought the run down estate in 1967; his son Alain has made the wine since the 1980s. The clos sits on an unusual band of clay rich soil that gives a wine closer to Moulin a Vent than typical granite Fleurie. The Tardive comes from the oldest vines, around 80 years old, and the name signals a wine
