This beautiful piece has been cast from a little venus shell found on Tasmania's East Coast

diopside and some other rare minerals

Im unsure of its original use as this is a very large bead

These were made from glass to imitate amber, they are from the late 19th century 20th century. Worn by the Katchin, Naga and Chin. Purchased in Mytchinya Burma. Slight chip on edge of small plug.
