A modern reinterpretation of Kusatsu ware, a ceramic tradition from 1,400 years ago, the aged looking patina evokes the passage of time. Left unglazed, this piece is decorated with a local Lake Biwa mud known as Seta Silt, diluted and poured to capture the process of flow on the surface. The result is a textural
