Herencia Mexicana Reposado Tequila Angostura Grand Anejo 7 Year Rum Henri Vallet came to MexicoMade at Destiladora La Roca in Amatitan, Jaliso, in the lowlands of the Tequila Valley. This is a wonderful middle ground repo not too much oak, but also not just a blanco with a hint of color it is decidedly a reposado, but one that respects its identity as an agave spirit. It maintains much of its younger, earthy vegetal character while picking up some sharp pepper and spice as well as vanilla and body from the time spent in oak. Bottled at 40% abv.
